 The Montessori Society is an affiliate of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), the organisation set up by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1929 to ensure that her work would be faithfully reproduced.
The Society aims to maintain and further Montessori ideas and principles for the full development of the human being. We aim to inform teachers and parents about Montessori and its practice. If you would like to find out more about supporting our work please go to the section on membership.
