At Green Twigs Montessori and Forest School, we believe in hands-on learning, curiosity, and adventure. Nestled in Rugby Road, W4 1AT, Chiswick, London, our setting combines the Montessori philosophy with the magic of the outdoors, creating a unique and enriching experience for children.

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Montessori Teacher or Forest School Practitioner (minimum Level 3 EYFS qualification) to join our team from January 2026.

Who We’re Looking For

• A Montessori qualification is highly preferred, but we also welcome passionate practitioners with an EYFS Level 3 qualification who are eager to pursue further Montessori training. A Level 3 Forest School qualification with an EYFS Level 2/3 is also very welcome.

• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a love for child-led learning

• Right to Work in the UK

• A creative, energetic, and self-motivated approach to teaching

• A passion for outdoor education and encouraging children to explore, discover, and grow

What We Offer

• Monday to Friday schedule (8:15am – 1:30pm) or Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 5:30pm to include after-school clubs — no evenings or weekends

• Opportunities to lead or support our Forest Club, working with local primary children in exciting outdoor learning experiences (additional hours until 5:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays)

• Support for further Montessori training and career development

• Paid DBS check (annual £13 contribution for the Update Service)

Safeguarding Statement

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a clear DBS check prior to starting the job.

If shortlisted, candidates will be asked to complete a criminal record self-declaration form where they must declare all unspent cautions and convictions, as well as any adult cautions (simple or conditional), and spent convictions that are not protected as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2020).

At least two references and two forms of ID will be required.
